Tree Preservation Orders are not working
Bristol Tree Forum have done a deep dive into how effective Tree Preservation Orders (TPO) are at protecting our trees in the UK - and the result is not good.
Using multiple Freedom of Information requests, Mark Ashdown from Bristol Tree Forum, asked councils up and down the country how often they had pursued potential breaches of TPO law and how many times they had taken enforcement action.
